American Pacific Mortgage is committed to the community we live in. We are passionate about dedicating time and resources as we partner with local groups to assure that those in our community is taken care of. Here are some ways that we are currently connected to groups that serve Ventura County.
The APMCares Foundation was founded to advance the company’s social responsibility initiative by organizing and providing the means for our employees and partners to serve our communities through financial and time donations through the Family Support and Community Outreach programs.
Family Support provides assistance to those in the APM Family who are currently struggling due to a recent medical, financial or bereavement hardship. Additionally, we can offer help for family tragedy or events that disrupt lives and incomes. Community Outreach provides support to nonprofit organizations, charities or private foundations which align with APMCares’ mission. Each donation empowers and serves individuals and families in the local community by providing resources related to shelter, food and clothing.
APMCares is supported and funded by:
- Employee Contributions – all employees have the opportunity to participate and elect an amount of their choosing to be automatically contributed to the fund.
- Community Contributions – individuals and groups can make contributions directly to the fund.
- Mortgage Loans – all loans that are generated through our branch has a portion of its proceeds automatically allocated to the fund.
The crime fighting team of the Ventura Police Department is fortunate to have the confidence and support of the community we serve. The Ventura Police Community Foundation (VPCF) was established to provide the opportunity for community and business members to support programs and initiatives that will improve the quality of life and safety in our community.
The VPCF Board of Directors works closely with the Police Department to identify needs to support and expand programs, such as the Police Activities League after-school programs, police volunteers and community safety programs. VPCF also works to raise money to assist the Police Department in obtaining equipment and technology not otherwise funded by the City, which helps to improve our crime fighting capabilities and keeps our officers and community members safe from harm.
